CBSE is expected to announce the result of UGC NET 2016 or CBSE NET July 2016 this week. The exam was held on July 10 at all places except Srinagar where NET exam took place on July 28th. Preliminary reports suggest that over 8 lakh had appeared for CBSE UGC NET July 2016 examinations.

The National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted to ensure the eligibility of Indian candidates for the eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship or both in Indian universities and colleges. CBSE has conducted NET in 84 subjects in 90 selected cities spread across the country on more than 1 thousand test venues.

Usually CBSE declares the result of previously held NET exam a day before, or on the same day before issuing notification the notification for the next NET exam.
