Before the launch of Nokia D1C price, features and specifications has already been leaked. This android smartphone is new upcoming smartphone from the former market leader. According to a report on NokiaPowerUser, the new D1C will come in two variants; 2GB RAM at $150 which is around Rs 10,000, and 3GB RAM variant at $200 or around Rs 13,000.
Features of Nokia D1C:
- powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with Adreno 505 GPU, and would come in 2GB and 3GB RAM variants.
- It is said to run on Android 7.0 Nougat and come in 5-inch and 5.5-inch full-HD display options. Both the variants are likely to come with 16GB inbuilt storage.
- On the camera front, the Nokia D1C variants are said to be available in 13-megapixel and 16-megapixel rear camera modules. Both the variants are expected to sport 8-megapixel camera at the front.
- The Nokia Android phone is also rumoured to come with waterproof capability alongside sporting a metal unibody design.
In an interview to Reuters, Nummela said his team’s enduring relationships with phone service providers and retailers could help HMD quickly convince owners of Nokia feature phones to upgrade in markets like India, Indonesia and Russia. Nokia still forms a tenth of the feature phones sold around the world, though in recent years it ceded ground to Samsung and TCL, maker of Alcatel-brand phones, as well as smaller players, according to market research firm Strategy Analytics.
HMD will work with Nokia, FIH Mobile Limited (FIH) and Google for its phones. Nokia smartphones will run Android operating system, confirmed the company.
