After Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner announced their engagement yesterday, here comes another Hollywood couple who has secretly tied the knot. As reported by People, ‘The Light Between Oceans’ couple Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander got married in a uber-private ceremony over the weekend in Ibiza. The happy couple allegedly exchanged vows at the La Granja farmstead resort in the company of friends and family, according to their sources.
While the two are yet to confirm the news, The Daily Mail even has some pictures of the two sporting wedding rings from their alleged wedding as spotted by them on Sunday. Looks like, the 40-year-old ‘Assassin’s Creed’ actor with the 29-year-old Oscar-winning Vikander was glowing with wedding bliss as he dined at what looked like a post-wedding brunch with his wife.
Ahead of the wedding, Fassbender and Vikander also seen chilling with friends and family on the idyllic island on Friday, where Vikander looked pretty in a white, summery gown and the Irish-German actor Fassbender looked casual cool in an unbuttoned shirt and shorts. The two also spotted getting intimate and sharing kisses on the Spanish island. The couple has still kept mum and their representatives have refused to confirm anything about the ceremony.
The two had met on the sets of The Light Between Oceans in 2014 where incidentally Vikander had played Fassbender’s wife too. Even though rumours of them dating sparked off then itself, they had maintained complete silence on the matter apart from showering each other with praises for their acting skills in their various interviews.
