Krishnagiri: In an unfortunate incident, at least 10 people were killed and almost 33 injured on Sunday after a private bus collided with a container lorry in Krishnagiri district near Hosur of Tamil Nadu.

The bus was carrying 63 passengers. Public immediately rushed in to help the wounded and the authorities were notified. More than 10 ambulances were brought to the spot and the injured were moved to nearby hospitals.

The unfortunate accident made the entire zone look like a war torn area.

Earlier,  17 people died in a collision similar to this one not a just a mile from the accident spot a month ago. Public have demanded with the authorities to increase safety measures on the road to stop loss of lives.
