Telugu movie Pelli Choopulu is a romantic-comedy film. The movie starring Ritu Varma and Vijay Devarakonda is directed by Tharun Bhasker of the award winning short film Anukokunda. The plot of Pelli Choopulu revolves around a young guy Prashanth played by Vijay Devarakonda who is a carefree happy chap and a career oriented girl Chitra played by Ritu Varma. Prashant’s family set him up to meet with his prospective bride Chitra. But upon meeting, Chitra confides that she has no plans to marry and settle down anytime soon. In fact she plans on starting her own business and successfully carry out working for her own food truck. What follows after this is what the movie Pelli Choopulu is all about.
