Bharti Airtel announced on Friday that that it will be offering 10GB 4G data at the price of 1GB, to customers who purchase any of Samsung’s Galaxy J series of smartphones.

Airtel’s prepaid users can avail 10GB of 4G data at a nominal price of Rs 250 with any smartphone of Samsung Galaxy J series. To avail the offer, customers need to log on to www.offers.airtel.com from their new Samsung J series device, using Airtel’s mobile internet (not Wi-Fi) and follow the specified instructions. Users can also visit their nearest Airtel Retail outlets to upgrade to 4G and activate the offer.

The move comes after Reliance Jio partnered with Samsung to offer free 4G Preview SIM cards on some of its phones. Users of Samsung phones like the Galaxy S7 can simply reach out to a Reliance Digital store and ask for a free Jio 4G SIM in exchange of a special preview code generated on the phone. They can then avail three months of free Preview offer that will give them free unlimited 4G internet, voice and video calling as well as free unlimited SMS.
