Cricketer Virender Sehwag is now slaying Twitter like he did bowlers on the cricket pitch. He takes a jibe at Shobha De while congratulating Sakshi Malik on getting India its first and only medal this far in the 2016 Games. The Nawab of Najafgarh’s tweet was funny, ‘punny’, sincere and empowering all at once.
Poora Bharat is baat ka Sakshi hai,jab koi bht mushkil ho toh is desh ki ladkiyan hi Malik hain.Thank U#SakshiMalik pic.twitter.com/YfHgRqxwTM

Not just that, proving that he’s one of the most sporting sportspersons ever, Sehwag even retweeted a comment from his parody Twitter account. That comment played on the words ‘Shobha’ and ‘De’, just like Sehwag’s did with ‘Sakshi’ and ‘Malik’. It said:
#SakshiMalik ke gale me medal kitna "Sobha De" raha hai na !!! #HappyRakshaBandhan pic.twitter.com/5qnN0tbD4y

Sehwag retweeted this by again punning back. He said:
Bilkul , isliye Shobha Na De aise kaam nahi karne chahiye https://t.co/LDyEPGRQI1
