Great news for Indian air traveller as Vistara and AirAsia today slashed fares for bookings this month.
Vistara is selling tickets at Rs 949 on the Jammu-Srinagar sector. A Goa-Mumbai flight can be booked for as low as Rs 1,099, Delhi-Lucknow for Rs 1,399 and Guwahati-Bagdogra for Rs 1,999. Lower fares are available on some long-haul domestic sectors too. Delhi-Bengaluru can be booked for Rs 2,399 and a ticket from Delhi to Mumbai, the busiest route in the country, can be booked for Rs 2,299.
Bookings for the tickets are open till September 10, for travel between September 12 and September 30.
AirAsia India too cut fares to as low as Rs 899 all inclusive on sectors such as Kochi, Guwahati, Hyderabad and Goa. These are available to be booked till September 11 for travel between February 6 and October 28, 2017.
The airlines are joint ventures of the Tata group with Singapore Airlines and Malaysia’s AirAsia Berhad respectively. AirAsia also cut international prices to up to Rs 3,399 to destinations such as Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Phuket, Bali and Krabi.
Its long haul arm AirAsia X also offered fares of Rs 3,990 from Delhi and Rs 12,999 on its more premium seats to locations such as Kuala Lumpur, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.
