Famous James Bond star Pierce Brosnan will be the new face of pan masala brand Pan Bahar, reported ET Brand Equity on Friday.
According to the report, the advertisement film shows Brosnan executing “Bond-sque stunts” with the aid of a “weaponised Pan Bahar tin-pack”.
However, this is not the first time that Brosnan has endorsed an Indian brand, the report said, adding that he had previously appeared in advertisements for Reid & Taylor.
The ad showed Brosnan holding a box of Pan Bahar with text below reading “Class never goes out of style” and a signature of the actor. The ad went viral in a matter of hours, with Twitter having some fun at the expense of the actor and the brand. Here are a few examples:
