We all are aware of the twitter war between Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag and British journalist Piers Morgan that surfaced since the Rio Olympics in August when the Englishman took a dig at India’s medal celebrations. He even challenged Sehwag for rupees 1 million for charity on England winning an ODI World Cup before India wins another Olympic Gold medal.
After India lifted the third straight Kabaddi World Cup, Virender Sehwag took a dig at Piers Morgan. “India invented Kabaddi & r World Champs for 8th time. Elsewhere some country invented Cricket & r yet only good in correcting typos. #INDvIRN,” Sehwag tweeted.

To which furious Morgan tweeted, “Mate, we invented Darts & Curling but I wouldn’t boast about being ‘World Champions’ at them”.

He further added, “Kabaddi’s not really a sport, @virendersehwag – it’s just a load of grown men running around slapping each other.”

The battle between the two had restarted when India defeated England 69-18 in the Kabaddi World Cup earlier this week. Sehwag took to Twitter to congratulate the winners and also took a dig at England.
“England loose in a World Cup again. Only the sport changes. This time it’s Kabaddi. India thrash them 69-18. All the best for semis #INDvENG,” Sehwag tweeted.
Morgan was quick to check Sehwag for his spelling and replied, “it’s lose.
