The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has declared the results of written test of 2017 undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) admissions on its official website. The written examinations were held on February 12, 2017.

NIFT conducted two exams on the basis of General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT).

This test is conducted to check the candidate’s skills for material handling and innovative ability.

Shortlisted candidates for Masters programme will have to go through a second round of Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interview (PI), results of which will be announced in May/June. Post which there will be a counselling session for qualified candidates.

Candidates can follow these steps to access their results:

(i) Log on to the website – nift.ac.in

(ii) On the homepage, under ‘Admission 2017’ click on Results of the Entrance Examination held on 12th February, 2017.

(iii) A new page will open

(iv) Enter your details – roll number, date of birth and application number.

(v) Click to submit

(vi) Results will be displayed

Candidates can take a print out of their scorecard for future reference.
