The results of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Class 12 exam 2017 will be declared today at 11 am on the official website,  the link for which is biharboard.ac.in

How to check:

• Go to the official website of the board

• Click on relevant link

• Enter all the required details in prescribed format

• Click to submit and results will be displayed on the screen

• Download and take printout of the same for future reference

Number of candidates:

Class 12: Over 13 lakh

Class 10: 16 lakh

The intermediate exams were concluded on February 25, while the class 10 exams got over on March 12

Cash prizes for toppers:

The board will also distribute cash prizes worth Rs 1 lakh to both Class 10 and Class 12 toppers along with a laptop and a kindle e-reader. Further, as reported by HT , the second and third toppers will get Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 each along with the gadgets, while fourth and fifth rank holders will get Rs 10,000 each and a laptop.

Delay of the results:

“Despite a lot of problems during the start of the evaluation process, we have made up for the lost time and hope to publish results by May-end,” said Anand Kishor, Chairperson, Bihar Board.

About BSEB:

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is established for holding and conducting an examination at the end of the Secondary School stage, for prescribing course of studies for such examination and for carrying out such other objects and duties as may be considered necessary for the purpose as stated in the act, rules and regulations of the board.

Every year, the board conducts following exams:

• Annual secondary school examination in the month of February/March

• Supplementary school examination in the month of August/September

• Departmental examinations (not on yearly basis) such as diploma in physical education, certificate in physical education and teachers training examination on such terms and condition as laid down by the state government.
