Deadpool 2 doesn’t hit theaters until June of next year, but star Ryan Reynolds just gave fans an early look at a new character.

Presenting… Domino, a mutant mercenary played by Atlanta actress Zazie Beetz.

Note: That “red carpet” that Domino is lying on? It appears to be Deadpool’s costume. It would be wise to not mess with this gal.

In fact, on Twitter, many are doing the opposite with Domino: They’re praising the character’s new look, which differs slightly from the comic-book rendering.

Even Deadpool and Domino comic-book artist Rob Liefeld gave the new look a thumbs up.

The Deadpool sequel’s almost a year away, but fans are ready for it.

Beetz will appear in Deadpool 2 along with Cable, another new character, played by Josh Brolin
