Pushing the saree envelope to the hilt, the sartorial style Queen of tinsel town, Kangana Ranaut was up and about promoting her upcoming flick, Simran in the capital. After working her way for the promotions with two ditzy western ensembles, Kangana resorted to an ethereal Sabyasachi saree and notched the look with a minimal vibe. The western ensembles may have their charm but the elegant and versatile traditional Indian weave – saree is ageless. Maverick fashion designer Sabyasachi is one of those few men who have worked out the innate workings of the contemporary Indian woman and spoilt us for choice with his always resplendent and speechless collection of sarees with each season.

The promotional style files of eminent tinsel town actresses are never complete without the traditional Indian weave. The ethereal traditional Indian weave has reinvented time and again. Jumping aboard the saree bandwagon, here’s how Kangana upped her promotional look.

Kangana donned a powder blue colored handpainted Sabyasachi floral saree from The Udaipur Collection of Spring Couture 2017 and teamed it with a white-golden brocade blouse.

She stepped into a pair of golden Dancing Pearls juttis from Needle Dust and kept her accessory game to a bare minimum with the exception of large studs.

Sporting a chic updo, she rounded out the look with delicately lined eyes, strong eyebrows, nude pink lips and a small bindi.

Playing muse to Sabyasachi and modeling the ethereal blue saree exuding a resplendent signature charm, Kangana stuck to a minimal vibe. Also, with the infusion of contemporary and risqué vibes, the saree exudes a powerful visual statement.

The glam squad responsible for Kangana’s look included fashion stylists Ami Patel and Sanjay Kumar Dauhaliya, makeup artist Lovleen Ramchandani and hair stylist Divya Naik.

As Kangana Ranaut has jumped aboard the promotional style bandwagon, we are quite intrigued at the style coupes this diva will pull out as the release date draws closer. Directed by Hansal Mehta, Simran narrates the story of the protagonist, Simran who is a divorcee with a strong sense of self, a bit of playfulness and a strong accent all along with a character flaw of theft and gambling. Kangana is all set to woo the audiences once again with her exuberant performance in Simran slated for a release on 15 September and has co-produced by Bhushan and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series Films and director Hansal Mehta’s Karma Pictures.
