Selena Gomez has deactivated her Instagram account after hackers invaded the site and posted nude images of her ex Justin Bieber.
A post from Selena’s official account, featuring three paparazzi pictures of Bieber in the buff, went up on Monday, with a caption that read: “LOOK AT THIS N***A LIL SHRIMPY.”
The alleged hackers included their Instagram handles, which linked to three random Internet trolls with thousands of followers between them, according to TMZ.
The hack is the latest celebrity cyber invasion and comes hot on the heels of a new nudity scandal involving Tiger Woods, Katharine McPhee, Kristen Stewart, and Miley Cyrus.
McPhee is already fighting back after hacked intimate photos of her appeared on various websites. In a statement to People magazine, the 33-year-old expressed her outrage and urged lawmakers to reevaluate the way such violations of privacy are handled.
“I hacked sometime in the last few years, and along with other celebrities a few days ago, my private photos blasted all over some sick and despicable websites,” the former American Idol contestant and Scorpion star told the publication.
Selena Gomez:
“The photos that are mine I am not ashamed of. I love my body and they taken for a man I deeply in love with, or for no one but myself. But what is also truly disgusting is that these sites include photos that do not belong to me, and are not of my body, and I’ve learn this happens continually.”
The star has filed a lawsuit in a Los Angeles court seeking unspecified damages for the invasion of her privacy.
Last week, nude images stolen from the phones of various celebrities including McPhee, Stewart, Cyrus and former couple Woods and Lindsay Vonn, appeared on the controversial website Celebrity Jihad. Woods and Stewart have since taken legal action against owners of the site.
