When Baahubali filmmaker SS Rajamouli mentioned about making a movie on the epic Mahabharata, Aamir Khan expressed his wish of either playing the role of Karna or Krishna in it. But what we didn’t know is that the Mr Perfectionist always had the epic in his mind as his dream project.
Dream project Mahabharata
Recently while promoting his upcoming release Secret Superstar in Vadodara, Aamir in a conversation with Filmfare said, “My dream project is to make the Mahabharata but I’m afraid of starting the project as I know it will consume at least 15-20 years of my life.” Also, the actor mentioned his love for the character of Karna and Arjun. He said, “My favourite character is Karna, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to play him due to my physique. I may just have to play Krishna. I also liked the character of Arjun. He was the only person who asked Krishna why he had to kill his own people.”
Earlier, while praising SS Rajamouli’s work, Aamir quoted as saying, “I’m a huge fan of Rajamouli’s work and if he ever plans to make Mahabharata, I’d love to play Krishna or Karna. I might actually go with Krishna.” He also then expressed his wish of doing a film with south Indian superstars Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan.
However, on the work front, Aamir is busy promoting Secret Superstar which stars Dangal fame Zaira Wasim and slated to release on Diwali. Also, his looks from the sets of Thugs of Hindostan has left the fans of the superstar excited. Thugs of Hindostan also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
