A police officer in Coimbatore has caught on camera groping his female colleague during an anti-NEET protest. The video from September 4 shows the woman officer trying to push away the male police officer’s hands but to no avail. The police officer can be seen groping the woman cop continuously. The video is going viral on the Internet with people expressing anger and demanding action against the police officer.

While the man is the Assistant Commissioner of Police, the woman is a deputy sub inspector, say reports.  The incident happened on September 4 when the police were trying to remove the protesters who had gathered at Gandhipuram in Coimbatore protesting against the death of 17 year old student Anitha who was running an agitation against NEET.

An investigation has now ordered into the incident after the video surfaced. However, no action has taken against the police officer yet.
