Today is the last date to apply online for the CBSE UGC NET 2017 Examination. Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the National Eligibility Test, NET for the University Grants Commission. Till last year, CBSE was conducting the NET exam bi-annually. However, the board has decided this year to conduct the UGC NET examination only once a year. This year, the CBSE UGC NET 2017 exam will conducted on November 5. The online applications started from August 11 and would close today. Tomorrow is the last date to pay the fees for the same.

Assistant Professor jobs

UGC NET examinations is conducted to check the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor jobs in UGC recognized universities. It also used for enrollment into the Junior Research Fellowship programs. Candidates who all interested in applying for the relevant jobs should apply online latest by 5 pm today. Though the notification does not mention the time and the forms would be available till midnight today, it is still prudent to fill the form latest by 5 pm today.

Candidates to please note that the fee for the UGC NET November 2017 exam can be made through a debit or a credit card. Also, candidates may also opt for payment through a SBI Bank challan which can deposited at the bank tomorrow. Interested candidates may kindly note that this year, it is mandatory for candidates to provide their Aadhaar Card number at the time of registration. Also, after the fee payment, candidates must take a print out of the confirmation page.

In case if an error in the uploaded photographs, candidates may correct the same. Steps to do so are similar to registering and applying online. Candidates may log in to the official website cbsenet.nic.in using the user name password and select on the option to correct uploaded image. The UGC NET 2017 examination will conducted on November 5, 2017. Admit Cards for the same  expected to released by October 20, 2017. Online application forms closes today.
