A class 12 student allegedly shot dead the principal of his school on Saturday. The incident is reported from Haryana, where the Principal of Vivekananda School in Yamunanagar has been shot dead by a class 12th student. The accused has reportedly been arrested, according to SP Rajesh Kalia. Even though the real reason behind this tragedy is still not clear, reports suggest that the boy was troubled because of principal’s scolding and shot her out of frustration. The accused student fired four shots at principal Ritu Chhabra, who was in her office, with a .32 bore gun and critically injured her. Chhabra succumbed to her injuries in the hospital, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Desh Raj. The boy was caught by locals and handed him over to the police, officials said.
