Radhika Apte had earlier confirmed that she was in talks for a film with Dev Patel. The actor in an interview with a leading daily had said, “Yes, I’m doing a film with Dev which I will announce soon.”

Radhika and Dev have started shooting for the film in Rajasthan. Dev Patel arrived in India two weeks ago and the film’s team is currently shooting in Jaipur. The shoot has been scheduled in different parts of Rajasthan and the cast has been sworn to secrecy, until the film is wrapped up.

“They started shooting last weekend and are expected to be there for the next few days. Dev arrived in India two weeks ahead to the schedule to meet the film’s team, get familiar with the locations and prep for his part. Both actors are bound by a tight contract that doesn’t allow them to speak about the film and details pertaining to the project are strictly under wraps till an official announcement is made,” a source told a leading daily. The working title of the film is ‘The Wedding Guest’.

Meanwhile, Radhika has wrapped up Bazaar with Saif Ali Khan and a horror story with Phantom Films. Radhika has also completed Sriram Raghavan’s film and Anurag Kashyap’s Love and Lust.

Dev Patel will be seen playing the titular character in Armando Iannucci’s The Personal History of David Copperfield.
