Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Kozhikode today after Uri attacks. PM Modi challenged the people of Pakistan to fight a battle against India.

Highlights of PM Modi speech in Kozhikode:

1.  There is one country in Asia which exports terrorism to other countries.

2. Indians will never forget the gruesome act of killing 18 soldiers in Uri.

3. When news about terrorism comes, news also follows that either the terrorist came from there or like Osama went there after the act.

4. Our soldiers have defended the country fighting, protecting the citizens. We are proud of their sacrifices. They have won the fight against terrorism not with their weapons but with their will power.

5. I want to talk to the people of Pakistan today. Want to remind them before 1947 they were part of this soil.

6. I want to ask Pakistan that you have PoK…still you can’t manage that. You have Balochistan, you can’t manage that and you want Kashmir?

7. I call upon people of Pakistan to come forward,fight a war on who defeats unemployment, poverty, illiteracy first. Lets see who wins?

8. Pakistan leaders misleading their people by talking of Kashmir. Pakistanis should ask why India exports software and Pakistan exports terror while both the countries got independence at the same time.

9. India has been successful in isolating you, globally and we will intensify our efforts to make sure that you are isolated globally.

10. A day will come when the people of Pakistan will fight against the homegrown terrorism.

11. There have been 17 attempts of cross-border infiltration which our brave soldiers thwarted.

12. In the last few months, our soldiers have killed over 110 terrorists which is the highest in recent years.

13. Leaders of present regime of the neighbouring country are reading out the script of terrorists.

14. I want to talk to the little boys in Pakistan. Let’s fight against illiteracy. Pakistan should fight to eradicate illiteracy and so should India. Let’s see who emerges the winner in that war

15. “When the NDA chose me, I promised that I would work for the poor. That would be based on the ideals of Upadhaya. I did that for last two years and still continuing. Before coming to power I wanted to implement the wealth of experience in the organisation. But hundreds of BJP workers sacrificed their lives in Kerala. I want to say to the BJP workers that your sacrifices will not go waste.”
