Former Pakistan cricket captain Javed Miandad insults PM Modi, callsRotten Egg

javed-miandad-insults Modi

Former Pakistani cricketer and father-in-law of terrorist Dawood Ibrahim’s daughter Javed Miandad has now crossed his limits. He questioned and insulted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s parentage in the wake of India’s successful surgical strikes on Pakistan.

In an interview with a Pakistani news channel – that tweeted his voice clip on September 29, the day of India’s surgical strikes – Miandad, at first, flattered to deceive.

“But then there is Narendra Modi,” Miandad said, pronouncing the PM’s last name ‘Moody’. He called the PM a ”rotten egg”, then questioned where he emerged from and wondered about his parentage.

Speaking on Pakistani news channel Samaa TV, Miandad said: “We are ready for martyrdom. Our nation cannot be cowed down by hollow threats.”

There are plenty in India who disagree with Modi and they express their dislike like anyone does in any healthy democracy. However, they do accord him the modicum of respect a head of state must receive.
