Deepika Padukone is certainly known to play diverse roles as all her upcoming films will present her in quite different shades. First, she will be seen as Vin Diesel’s love interest in XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, then she will sport the royal character in Padmavati and now another completely different shade has come up in pictures.

She shocked her fans with some of her pictures that went viral on social media. The actress is seen in a totally de-glam avatar as she was having a look-test for Iranian director Majid Majidi’s upcoming movie.

Deepika is seen sporting a rural girl look, holding some clothes in a slum area. “It is an Indian story and will be shot in Mumbai, Delhi, parts of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Kashmir. It will take off towards the year end of early 2017 and is a signature Majidi film with new takes on relationships and emotional quotients,” casting director Honey Trehan said. The film will reportedly be titled Dhobi Ghatt.
