Lok Sabha will take up the Repealing and Amending Bill, 2017, for consideration and passing on Thursday.

In Rajya Sabha, the members will present reports of various committees. Also, Thursday is the last working day of outgoing vice president Hamid Ansari, the chairman of Rajya Sabha.

On Wednesday, PLok Sabha had a commemorative discussion on the 75th anniversary of the Quit India Movement.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi echoed Mahatma Gandhi’s “Karenge ya marenge” (do or die) slogan, saying India needs to tackle its challenges of poverty, lack of education and malnutrition.
