Reliance Jio is giving tough competition to its rivals. Airtel has announced two new postpaid plans under its ‘myPlan Infinity’ series. The telco is offering unlimited voice calls along with bundled 3G/4G data at Rs 1,199 and Rs 1,599.
Under the Rs 1,199 plan, the users can enjoy unlimited voice calling — local, STD, and on national roaming — along with 100 SMSes per day, 1GB 3G/4G data and free subscription to Wynk Music and Wynk Movies services.
Last month, Airtel launched ‘Happy Hours’ for its prepaid users. As a part of the offer, Airtel allowed users to schedule in-app content downloads between 3am and 5am and get 50% data back.
Even Vodafone has came out with promotional schemes offering up to 67% more data of 2G, 3G and 4G services at same price during this month.
The development comes within a fortnight after Airtel and Idea slashed data tarrifs.
Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Jio which slashed price of 4G LYF handsets by 25% to Rs 2,999.
