Multi talented Tamil star Dhanush celebrates his 34th birthday today, ie 28th July. Dhanush’s first film was Thulluvadho Ilamai, a 2002 coming-of-age film directed by his father, Kasthuri Raja. Over the last 15 years, Dhanush has starred in over 25 films. Dhanush won the Best Actor award at the 58th National Film Awards for his performance in Aadukalam (2010). He made his debut in Bollywood as Kundhan Shankar in Aanand L Rai’s Raanjhanaa.
He is to married Aishwarya, Rajinikanth’s daughter. They have two sons named Yatra and Linga who were born in 2006 and 2010.
He is celebrating his birthday in Malaysia, where the actor is busy promoting Velai Illa Pattadhari 2 with director Soundarya Rajinikanth and Kajol, who plays an important role in the film. Overwhelmed with the wishes of fans in Malaysia, Dhanush tweeted “Was so overwhelmed by the love showered by fans in Malaysia .. was so touched when they sang happy birthday for me. Whatta birthday eve”. Apart from trending a special hashtag to wish their matinee idol on Twitter, ardent fans of Dhanush are also involving in various philanthropic activities in Tamil Nadu today.
