Kulgam (J&K), Aug 03 (ANI): Indian Army eliminated two Hizbul Mujahideen militants in an encounter in Kulgam district. Providing details, Kulgam Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), S. Patil, informed that it was a clean encounter as no Army personnel got injured nor any damage was caused to the public property. Joint cordon and search operations (CASO) were launched by 182 Battalion, 183 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), 55 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and Special Operations Group (SOG). Firing continued for around thirty minutes after the Army came to know about the presence of two terrorists. Further investigation is underway.
