Siva Balaji on Sunday evening emerged as the winner of the first season of Bigg Boss Telugu, hosted by none other than Jr NTR. The actor, who loved by the audience as a host, announced the winner on the basis of the votes the contestant received in the grand finale episode. Siva Balaji saw off competition from Adarsh Balakrishna, Archana and Navdeep, who gave a tough fight throughout the nomination process this season.
Archana ,the first among the top five to leave the Bigg Boss house followed by wildcard entry Navdeep and Hari Teja.

In conversation with the Jai Luva Kusa actor, Navdeep said, “I entered the house of Bigg Boss Telugu four weeks after it started. I am happy to be the fourth most popular contestant on the reality TV show.” Archana quipped, “I am a pampered kid and I was little slow in my activities. I am happy that I survived till the last day of Bigg Boss Telugu.”
Bigg Boss Telugu grand finale was nothing less than a celebration for the viewers. The episode started off with Devi Sri Prasad’s performance on his tunes ‘Raavana’ and ‘Tring Tring’ from Jr NTR’s recent release, Jai Lava Kusa. After DSP’s performance, host Jr NTR entered the stage and grooved along with the music composer.
Later, the actor thanked his audience for making Bigg Boss the most loved show on any Telugu channel and also spoke about his special relationship with DSP. He invited all the evicted contestants – Jyothi, Diksha Panth, Prince Cecil, Sameer, Sampoornesh Babu, Kathi Karthika, Dhanraj, Madhu Priya and Mahesh Kathi to the grand finale. However, ex-contestants Kalpana Raghavendar and Mumaith Khan did not attend the event.
During the event, Jr NTR thanked the audience for showering so much love on the show and him as a host. He also declared that 11.95 crore the total number of votes the finalists received.
While Siva Balaji took home the winner’s trophy and Rs 50 lakh, Adarsh Balakrishna was the first runner-up.
